Representatives of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan took part in the International Summer School of Excellence in Teaching and Learning DARYA, which was held on the shore of Lake Issyk-Kul in Kyrgyzstan from August 5 to 8. Arzuw.news reports with reference to Turkmenistan: Golden Age.
The four-day event was an important regional event to improve vocational education in Central Asia. The summer school was organized within the framework of the European Union's regional project DARYA, which aims to develop education and strengthen human resource capacity in five partner countries: Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
The training program included meaningful trainings, interactive sessions, group work and discussions. Participants were also engaged in developing roadmaps for each participating country.
The educational program covered three key areas: policy development for vocational training centers, professional development for teachers, and implementation of innovative pedagogical methods using SCAFFOLD technology.
Particular emphasis was placed on the concept of a "School of Professional Excellence" using the SCAFFOLD learning methodology and the ISATCOVE self-assessment and professional development system.
The participation of the Turkmen delegation in the international summer school will contribute to the development of the vocational education system in Turkmenistan in accordance with international standards.
