Serdar Berdymukhamedov arrived in Tatarstan for a meeting of the EMPS, as well as to participate in events scheduled for April 29-30. As part of his visit, he met with the head of Tatarstan, R.Minnikhanov, and the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, M.Mishustin.
Participation of the Turkmen delegation as a guest of honor in the EMPS events was considered in the telephone conversation leaders of the Russian Federation and Turkmenistan. It was emphasized that the meeting would open new vectors of cooperation.
The main agenda of the current event is to unite the efforts of the member-states of the organization for launching space satellites for Earth sensing and joint development of positioning systems. It is planned to allocate more than 28.9 billion rubles for the implementation of the space project.
Activities of the EAEU (Eurasian Economic Union) is aimed at the economic integration of the participating countries (Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Armenia) and the states that have observer status (Moldova, Uzbekistan, Cuba).
