The urea plant in Garabogaz has successfully met the demand for production of mineral fertilizers for domestic needs, as well as for export. This is reported by Centralasia.news.
Turkmenistan is actively developing investment projects for the efficient use of resources, and effective relations are being established with foreign partners in this area. One of the successfully implemented projects in the production of mineral fertilizers is the Garabogazcarbamide plant of the State Concern "Turkmenhimiya" built in the Balkan region and commissioned in 2018.
In 2023, the plant's employees exceeded the production plan by AZN 147 million, producing more than 1 million tons of urea fertilizers. The enterprise is successfully coping with the plan this year as well. In January 2024, 24 thousand tons of fertilizers exceeded the plan.
