Turkmenistan introduces personal pensions for special merits

Turkmenistan plans to introduce personal pensions for special services to the state in the near future. This is reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

The innovation became known after the meeting of the Government of Turkmenistan, which was held this Friday in the videoconference mode. Deputy Prime Minister for Economy Khojamyrat Geldimiradov reported on the ongoing work on this issue.

According to the Deputy Prime Minister, the issue of establishing a special commission on the appointment of personal pensions is currently under consideration. The documents for the introduction of personal pensions for special services to the country have been prepared in accordance with the current Code of Turkmenistan on social protection of the population.
