Turkmen and Uzbek delegations participated in the 18th meeting of the Joint Commission

Turkmen delegation headed by Deputy Prime Minister of Turkmenistan B. Atdaev and Uzbek delegation headed by Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan J. Khodjaev took part in the 18th session of the Joint Turkmen-Uzbek Commission on trade-economic, scientific-technical and cultural cooperation. It is reported Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan.

In the course of the meeting the steps on realization of the agreements reached during the previous meeting were considered. It was stated that regular contacts at the highest level are of special importance in strengthening interstate ties.

The sides touched upon the issues of expanding cooperation in trade and economic, energy, transportation and logistics, and industrial cooperation. In addition, key aspects of cooperation in science and technology, cultural and humanitarian, agricultural and other spheres were considered.
