Turkmen leaders ranked among the top 40 women leaders of Central Asia

Chairman of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan Dunyagozel Gulmanova and Deputy Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Myahri Byashimova were included in the top 40 of the "Women Leaders of Central Asia" rating. This is reported by the online publication "Türkmenistan Habarlar Portaly".

The rating was compiled by the nationwide movement "Yuksalish" together with the Institute of Social and Economic Initiatives with the support of experts on the basis of a number of criteria and voting. The criteria for evaluating candidates included position, citation and recognizability, and initiatives put forward. More than 300 experts from the countries of the Central Asian region took part in the voting.

Д. Gulmanova is the youngest speaker of the Mejlis in the history of the country. M. Byashimova, who holds the post of Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the country, actively promotes "green" economy, takes part in high-level UN meetings.
