Turkmen students in Tatarstan took part in Novruz celebrations

Students from Turkmenistan studying in the Republic of Tatarstan took an active part in the events on the occasion of the International Spring Festival Novruz. This was reported by the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Kazan on its website and official Instagram page.

On March 19, Turkmen students together with the Turkmen Diaspora living in the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan, with the support of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry in Kazan, participated in the exhibition that was held on the territory of the hippodrome as part of the republican celebration of Novruz. Turkmen students and members of the Diaspora presented national clothing, arts and crafts, national jewelry to the guests of the holiday. Those who wished could taste delicious Turkmen pilaf.

On March 21, Novruz celebrations were held at the I.N. Ulyanov Chuvash State University, where Turkmen students of this university performed original numbers and demonstrated the best cultural traditions of their country.

On March 22, Turkmen students took an active part in the big concert held at the Institute of Philology and Intercultural Communication of Kazan Federal University.
