On April 28, Turkmenistan's Ambassador to Pakistan A. Movlamov held a meeting with Rector of Pakistan's National University of Science and Technology (NUST) Javed Mahmud Bukhari in Islamabad on cooperation in science and education. This is reported on the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
During the conversation, the Turkmen diplomat informed Javed Mahmud Bukhari about the peculiarities of the foreign and domestic policy of Turkmenistan, the projects and programs of the President being implemented. Special attention was paid to the city of Arkadag under construction. The city is being built on the initiative of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. The latest technologies are used in the construction and the concept of "smart" city is being implemented.
At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to develop cooperation between Turkmen higher education institutions and Pakistan's NUST.
