Turkmen National Institute of World Languages named after D. Azadi with the support of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) held the II Olympiad in German language. This was reported by the TurkmenPortal online edition.
The Olympiad was held in two stages. According to the terms of the first stage, the participants had to write an essay in German entitled "Makhtumkuli Fraghi's Treasure Trove of Mind". Forty-five students from 13 universities of the country reached the finals.
The second stage was suitable for 2 categories, according to the level of training. In the first category Grand Prix was awarded to the representative of GMUT named after M. Garryev A. Nurberdiev. I place was awarded to K. Kakalyeva, a student of D. Azadi TNIMYA named after D. Kakalyeva. II and III prizes were won by O. Nuryeva, a student of D. Azadi TNIMYA named after D. Azadi, and A. Rakhmanova, a student of Makhtumkuli TSU.
In the second category the Grand Prix was awarded to Sh. Nurlyyeva of MUHNIR. I place was awarded to M. Popyeva, a student of TSU named after Makhtumkuli. II and III prizes were awarded to representatives of TSU named after Makhtumkuli - respectively S. Rozyeva and D. Gurlyeva. Rozyeva and D. Gurbanmyradov.
