Turkmen Embassy in the Republic of Pakistan held a literary evening

The Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan organized a literary evening on the occasion of the upcoming celebration of the 300th anniversary of the birth of Turkmen poet and philosopher Makhtumkuli Fraghi on September 7. This is reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

At the beginning of the event, the presentation of a new poem by the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov "The Storehouse of Mind of Makhtumkuli Fraghi" took place. As the literary evening continued, the participants read poems and poems by Makhtumkuli Fraghi and discussed his creative and life path.

The participants of the event emphasized that the work of the great Makhtumkuli had a significant impact on the formation of Turkmen and world culture, left a deep trace in the literature of the Turkmen people and other peoples of the East.
