Tour of Lebap Musical Drama Theater starts in Ashgabat

From March 11 to 18, the capital of Turkmenistan will host a tour of the S. Seydi Lebap Musical Drama Theater, the oldest theater in the country with a rich history. This is reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

The history of the Lebap Theater dates back to the 40s of the last century, and the heyday of the cultural institution was in 1979. It was at this time that the main backbone of the theater troupe was formed - it included graduates of the legendary GITIS (today - the Russian Academy of Theatrical Art). Subsequently, talented actors, graduates of the Tashkent Theater Institute named after Ostrovsky, joined the staff of the theater.

As part of the tour in the capital of Turkmenistan, the Lebap theater will present an interesting play dedicated to Ashgabat and a humorous concert.
