Recommendations of the International Labor Organization discussed in Ashgabat

The capital of Turkmenistan hosted a working meeting devoted to a substantive discussion of recommendations on improving the country's legislation put forward by the ILO. This was reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

Miranda Fagerman acted as a representative of the International Organization. From the Turkmen side, the meeting was attended by employees of relevant departments and ministries, the Ombudsman's Office and representatives of public organizations.

In the course of the meeting the relevant specialists comprehensively considered the recommendations proposed by ILO and informed the representative of the International Labor Organization about the measures to be taken to implement these recommendations.

It should be recalled that earlier the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan held a meeting with representatives of the ILO Office, during which Turkmen specialists presented a targeted work on the analysis of the country's legislation for compliance with international labor standards.
