The workshop was aimed at presenting international experience in implementing the circular economy as a tool for sustainable development and support for SMEs, especially women's enterprises.

The workshop was held in a hybrid format: an international expert spoke online and participants attended in person.

Olivera Zurovak-Kuzman, Head of the Economic and Environmental Section at the OSCE Centre in Ashgabat, emphasized that the circular economy is a necessity and not just an alternative to traditional approaches.
