The deputy head of the Foreign Ministry V. Khadzhiev met with Chinese Ambassador Qian Nacheng. The subject of the meeting was the implementation of joint projects in the economy, foreign trade, culture, and social and humanitarian spheres.
In the course of the business conversation, the diplomats acknowledged that the bilateral partnership should be based on the principles declared by the UN. These are, first of all, respect for each other's right to sovereignty and non-interference in domestic politics.
China and Turkmenistan have reached a consensus on a number of topical issues of the international agenda. The talks resulted in agreements to continue cooperation on previously outlined plans.
