The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan received copies of credentials of the Ambassador of Egypt

On June 7, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan B. Myatiev met with the Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Turkmenistan Nazih Ali Bahayeldin El Nagari, as reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. Myatiev and Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Turkmenistan Nazih Ali Bahaeldin El Nagari met, as reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

During the meeting, the Egyptian Ambassador presented copies of his credentials.
The sides discussed the current situation and prospects for the development of relations in trade-economic, political-diplomatic and cultural-humanitarian spheres.

The meeting was then continued in an extended format with the participation of Turkmenistan's Minister of Foreign Affairs Rashid Meredov. The parties agreed to organize visits and meetings of the presidents of the countries. Bilateral political consultations and a regular meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation were scheduled.

During the conversation, promising areas of cooperation between the two countries were named: investments, transportation, oil and gas and chemical fields.
