A multidisciplinary medical institution and oncology clinic are being built in the northern region of Turkmenistan

In the northern region of Turkmenistan, in the city of Dashoguz, a multidisciplinary medical institution and an oncology clinic are under construction. The construction of the facilities, designed for 450 and 150 beds respectively, has already reached the finish line. The construction of these large-scale facilities is carried out by specialists of "Ajaýp-gurluşyk" FEI in accordance with the decree of Turkmen leader Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. The total area to be occupied by these buildings is almost 15 hectares. The new buildings are located along Gyoroglu Street, one of the most beautiful streets in the city. They are part of a beautiful architectural complex that is being created in this area of Dashoguz.

The exterior facades of the hospital and oncology clinic are being decorated with marble slabs. Finishing works are also carried out inside the buildings. The surrounding territory is also being improved.

The new facilities, as well as other modern facilities of the Turkmen health care system, will provide the country's population with a broad range of services, both diagnostic and therapeutic. All of them will fully comply with high world standards.

For example, the 450-bed multi-purpose medical facility consists of 8 blocks of buildings of different floors. There will be many departments equipped with modern medical equipment. It will help the personnel of the medical institution to quickly detect and cure various pathologies and diseases of the major human systems - respiratory, urinary, cardiovascular, nervous, gastrointestinal tract and musculoskeletal system, as well as to perform high-level surgical interventions of varying complexity.

The new 150-bed oncology clinic includes six units. It will consist of an outpatient and preventive care unit, a palliative care unit with an inpatient unit, separate (male and female) subsections of the general oncology department, hematology units, dispensary care, radiology, chemotherapy, as well as a pharmacy, laboratory, administration building, and other facilities.

Both new buildings will have a developed system of necessary infrastructure, including canteens, laundries, laboratories, parking lots, oxygen stations, and recreation areas. There will also be a helipad on the territory of the multidisciplinary medical facility.

In Dashoguz, as in other regions of Turkmenistan, comprehensive large-scale measures aimed at establishing a developed health care infrastructure are being successfully implemented. The centers of diagnostics, emergency care, mother and child health care, as well as its own mineral water sanatorium, which can accommodate up to 200 people, are already operating here.
