Serdar Berdymukhamedov, Deputy Prime Minister and Head of the International Association of Akhal-Teke Horse Breeding and the International Association "Turkmen Alabais" opened the Center of the International Associations of Akhal-Teke Horse Breeding and "Turkmen Alabais" in the capital of Turkmenistan.
The delegation of the Turkmen Mejlis, deputies of the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, representatives of security agencies, ministries, departments, mass media, public figures and the head of the Ashgabat mayor's office attended the celebration.
The opening of the new facility began with Vice Prime Minister Berdymukhamedov cutting a traditional symbolic ribbon. Then the participants and guests of the opening ceremony familiarized themselves with the Center's equipment and infrastructure. They were shown the conditions, which will contribute to the fruitful activity of specialists and the organization of various celebrations.
The first floor of the building is allocated for the Museum, among the exhibits of which there are original works of painters and sculptors devoted to Akhalteke horses and Turkmen alabais, as well as thematic products made by master carpenters.
A carpet with a poem by Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov, dedicated to the alabai, is placed in the center of the exposition.
Visitors of the Museum can also admire magnificent samples of jewelry created especially for "heavenly" horses. This handmade marvel eloquently demonstrates the immense love for Akhalteke horses of the nation of Turkmenistan. In ancient times, the ornaments protected horses and served as a talisman for them.
In the exhibition hall, samples of saddles that are usually used during horse races are also on display. In addition, you can also see "festive" saddles. The saddles are also on display in the exhibition room, but all of them show the responsible selection of each element of the horse's harness.
Later, the participants of the ceremony watched a number of videos on the monitor of the Museum. They told about the fate of Turkmen alabais that the Turkmen leader presented to the Russian leaders Vladimir Putin and Dmitry Medvedev at different times. The guests invited to the opening ceremony watched another video about the descendant of the legendary Akhalteke Akkhan, the foal Ashgabat, the stages of his upbringing and education.
The participants of the event also visited the Center's library, where a special place was allotted to the thematic works of the Turkmen leader translated into various languages of the world. The head of state could not ignore the topics of alabais and "heavenly" racers as well. In addition to the rich book fund, the Center's library has its own web site, in which three languages are available so far. It is systematically updated and is always ready to delight visitors with interesting novelties.
Going up to the 2nd floor of the building, visitors visited the Center offices, special rooms and a conference room, where the optimal conditions for efficient work were created, including the online mode.
At the end of the Center's opening ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister and head of the International Association of Akhal-Teke Horse Breeding and the International Association "Turkmen Alabais" S. Berdymukhamedov made a memorable entry in the Book of Honorary Guests.
