Turkmenistan prepares for the VI Caspian Summit

The Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan hosted a meeting of the Interdepartmental Commission on the Caspian Sea.

The participants, including deputy prime ministers, heads of ministries and agencies of the country, familiarized themselves with the results of 2021 and discussed the current vectors of activity for 2022. In addition, the sides touched upon the preparatory work for the VI Caspian Forum to be held this year. Thus, in the course of the meeting they reviewed draft documents to be discussed at the event.

As emphasized at the meeting, Turkmenistan will continue its active peacekeeping work, as well as activities to ensure regional security and stability and strengthen friendly relations between the coastal countries.
