Pupils of the table tennis section of the Cultural and Sports Complex of the TKNPZ with coaches and parents made a collective trip to the caves of the Stone Age, located 30 kilometers from the city of Turkmenbashi. This is reported in the electronic newspaper "Neutral Turkmenistan".
The tourists reached the caves by bus, and the remaining three kilometers were covered on foot. After reaching an altitude of 75-100 meters, they found themselves at the entrances to the caves.
According to historian Viktor Cherepanov, these caves were inhabited by Cro-Magnon people who knew how to make tools for hunting and labor. The participants of the expedition took an active part in discussions on such topics as the history of the Earth, dinosaurs, the origin of the Kailu Mountains, and the imprints of ancient mollusks on rocks. Both the young athletes and their parents enjoyed the excursion.
