Mukama siňen ömür" festival will be held in Turkmenistan

On the occasion of the 85th birth anniversary of Turkmen composer Nury Halmamedov, the festival "Mukama siňen ömür" will be held in Ashgabat, Arkadag and velayats of the country on October 27-28. This is reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

The festival will include exhibitions, conferences, concerts, performances, as well as the screening of a documentary film about the life and work of the outstanding composer. In addition, the International Scientific and Practical Conference dedicated to the anniversary of Nury Halmamedov's birth will be held these days in Moscow.

The M. Kuliyeva Turkmen National Conservatory will also host a scientific and practical conference "Mukama siňen ömür" to discuss the contribution of Nury Halmamedov to the Turkmen national cinema. The events planned within the festival are aimed at highlighting the history of the formation of the Turkmen composer school.
