A lecture in honor of World Cities Day was held in Turkmenistan

The National Institute of Deserts, Flora and Fauna of the Ministry of Environmental Protection of Turkmenistan held a lecture on the occasion of the World Cities Day. This was reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

The lecture within the framework of the project "Sustainable Cities in Turkmenistan: Integrated Development of Green Cities in Ashgabat and Avaza" was attended by final year students of the Faculty of Geography of the Turkmen State University named after Makhtumkuli.

During the workshop, participants discussed the issues of combating the effects of global climate change.
It was noted that the UN conference on climate change will be held in Dubai in November-December this year, and the national conference of Turkmenistan's youth on climate change will be held in Ashgabat on November 3.
