The Chamber Ensemble Department of the Mai Kuliyeva Turkmen National Conservatory will host an event dedicated to the 150th anniversary of composer Sergey Vasilyevich Rachmaninov. The festival will be held from April 1 to 19. This is reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".
A total of 3 cultural events are planned. On April 1, a Gala Concert will be held in the Great Hall of the Conservatory, featuring about 20 artists from the Conservatory and the music boarding school.
On April 7, Honored Artist of Turkmenistan Vladimir Mkrtumov will delight lovers of classics with works by Rachmaninoff. The venue is the concert hall of the Philharmonic Cultural Center - Ashgabat Park.
The festival will end on April 19 in the Small Hall of the Conservatory. The program includes a concert of vocal music with the participation of People's Artist Gulnara Nuryeva, Honored Artist Leyla Okdirova and diploma holder of international competitions Stella Faramazova.
