Ashgabat hosted a big concert of the National Conservatory named after M. Kuliev. M. Kulieva, which is dedicated to Turkmenistan's second most important holiday, Neutrality Day, which is celebrated on December 12.
Classical works performed by talented students of the Conservatory, accompanied by the folk orchestra of famous Turkmen conductor Omar Igamov, sounded on the stage of the Makhtumkuli Music and Drama Theater.
The audience also enjoyed a performance by the bakhshi ensemble, which performed works by modern composers and well-known folk tunes. The Symphony Orchestra of the Conservatory presented the audience with outstanding musical works of the Turkmen classics.
According to Orient news, the Conservatory's holiday concert will be televised on Turkmen Ovazy channel.
