SC "Turkmengeologiya" is currently exploring new fields in the coastal zone of the Caspian Sea. The specialists conduct seismological exploration and gravimetric work.
In 2021, SC "Turkmengeologiya" and the Singapore concern signed an agreement, under which the terms of cooperation on seismic exploration in the territory of Goturdepe field and in the Pribalkhan area are regulated. These areas of the coastal zone are complex, but geological exploration work on them will allow to fully reveal the existing potential for further exploration of promising areas.
Work is also being carried out in the Gogerendag-Ekerem, Gizilgum and Pribalkan gas and oil-bearing areas, which will provide an opportunity to increase gas and oil production.
