Representatives of Turkmenistan's higher educational institutions met with teachers of Somali universities in Ashgabat in the format of a videoconference. This is reported by the Internet edition "Westiabad."
Speakers at the conference paid attention to climate change, water diplomacy, rational use of natural resources and environmental protection. Representatives of S.A. Niyazov Turkmen Agricultural University, IMO of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, and Makhtumkuli Turkmen State University took part in the event from the Turkmen side.
During the speeches, the role of higher education and international cooperation in the adaptation of agriculture to global climate change was emphasized. The parties emphasized their readiness to develop and strengthen the constructive partnership of higher education institutions of the two countries in this direction.
