Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan met with the Head of UNFPA

Deputy Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Myahri Byashimova met with Aina Seyitlieva, Head of the UN Population Fund Office, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. This is reported on the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

The issues related to interaction within the framework of the country cooperation program operating in the period of 2021-2025 were discussed. The results of joint work in realization of annual plans with ministries and agencies of Turkmenistan were considered.

The parties noted the effectiveness of partnership in the field of gender equality, women's empowerment, reproductive health and family planning. The development of partnership in the field of youth policy was also highlighted as a priority area.
