The heads of the diplomatic missions of Armenia and Turkmenistan in Russia met to discuss the prospects for further cooperation between the countries. Batyr Niyazliev and Vagharshak Harutyunyan noted the possibilities of expanding partnership relations within the framework of the world's authoritative organizations - UN, OSCE, CIS, etc.
During the official dialogue, the diplomats emphasized the friendly nature of interaction between the states, which serves the interests of both Armenia and Turkmenistan. Niyazliev and Harutyunyan also emphasized the deep historical, cultural and humanitarian ties of the modern constructive partnership.
Niyazliev spoke about high voter turnout and the results of last Saturday's early presidential election. Harutyunyan warmly praised the Turkmen leader's global initiative "Dialogue - a guarantee of peace," supporting its timeliness in the context of discussions on further development of the foreign policy neutrality strategy.
