President Serdar Berdymukhamedov issued a stern reprimand to Batyr Amanov, chairman of the Turkmengaz State Concern, "for improper performance of his official duties and serious shortcomings in his work," signing a corresponding order at a government meeting, the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper reported.
A severe reprimand was issued "with a final warning to correct the deficiencies as soon as possible."
The president of Turkmenistan noted that he would be dismissed from his position if the shortcomings were not corrected as soon as possible.
The last time Batyr Amanov was reprimanded was a month ago, at a Cabinet meeting on December 16, based on his work for 11 months.
