Turkmenistan held celebrations on the occasion of the beginning of cotton sowing

On March 24, cotton sowing started in four provinces of Turkmenistan, which was marked by solemn events. An exhibition of agricultural products and goods of processing enterprises of the country's agro-industrial complex was timed to the beginning of the sowing season. Concerts with performances of music and dance groups were also held across the country. This is reported in the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

In accordance with a good tradition, the start of the sowing season was blessed by the honorable elders of the country, throwing the first seeds into the plowed land. This year it is planned to sow 580 thousand hectares of agricultural land with selected seeds of modern cotton varieties.

Ahead of the sowing campaign, a number of seminars were also held in Turkmenistan to address topical issues of increasing the profitability of the agro-industrial complex, modernizing the village, and increasing the growth rate of agricultural production.
