Batken Regional Musical Drama Theater named after Appaz Zhainakov presented the premiere of the play "Fraghi" about the famous Turkmen poet and thinker Makhtumkuli Fraghi. This event is reported on the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
The premiere about the life and creative path of Makhtumkuli Fraghi aroused keen interest among the audience appreciating the culture of the East and classical poetry. The performance was organized by Sultanban Raev, Secretary General of the International Turkic Culture Organization.
The premiere is dedicated to the celebration of the 300th anniversary of the birth of the great thinker and poet of the East. The director and artist of the performance is Urmatkan Meliaeva.
The play "Fraghi" will take part in the Fourth International Theater Festival, which is scheduled to be held in Turkmenistan in November this year.
