On April 29, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov took part in the opening ceremony of a new equestrian complex of the state's military and law enforcement agencies and in the awarding ceremony of the winners of the international contest "Ýylyň iň owadan ahalteke bedewi". The opening of the new equestrian sports complex was the result of the President's Program to improve the material and technical base of the Armed Forces to create optimal conditions for service.
The character of the National Army of Turkmenistan corresponds to the Military Doctrine based on the permanent status of neutrality of the State. Turkmenistan supports the original traditions of horse breeding and pays special attention to the breeding of purebred Akhalteke horses, the development of equestrian sports and the training of service horses.
