Embassy of Turkmenistan in Japan presented Arkadag city

On May 8, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Japan held a presentation of a new "smart" Turkmen city Arkadag in the Japanese city of Kobe. This was reported on the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

Turkmen Ambassador to Japan Atadurdy Bayramov and Mayor of Kobe City Kizo Hisamoto met on the occasion of the presentation.

The presentation included information about the city of Arkadag and the peculiarities of its development, application of the smart city concept.

In addition, the Turkmen diplomat met with President of Kobe University in Japan Fujisawa Masato on the expansion of cultural and humanitarian cooperation between Turkmenistan and Japan. The parties came to an agreement on holding joint events in education, science and culture.
