Meeting of the participants of the Interparliamentary Friendship Group "Georgia-Turkmenistan" was held

On May 8 this year, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Georgia D. Muratov met with Georgian MP, First Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Legal Affairs David Matikashvili in the Parliament of Georgia within the framework of the Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group "Georgia-Turkmenistan". This was reported on the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

During the bilateral meeting, the sides discussed the active development of relations between Georgia and Turkmenistan in energy, transportation, cultural, humanitarian and political-diplomatic spheres.

The sides also discussed topical issues of multilateral cooperation in the format of international organizations, including within the framework of the UN. The sides also touched upon the upcoming working trip of Georgian diplomats to Turkmenistan.
