Talks between the Presidents of Turkmenistan and the Republic of Tajikistan took place

As part of his working trip to Tajikistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a meeting with the leader of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rakhmon, first in a narrow format, then in an expanded format. This is reported by the online publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

The sides discussed the development of Turkmen-Tajik relations in trade-economic, cultural-humanitarian and political-diplomatic spheres.

Special emphasis was placed on economic partnership between the states, including in energy, transportation, communications, agriculture and industry.

The sides also prioritized the development of ties between the two countries in the field of private entrepreneurship. The sides expressed interest in establishing direct contacts in the business sphere. A number of documents on bilateral cooperation are planned to be signed as a result of the talks.
