Negotiations on cooperation between Turkmenistan and UNIDO were held

On July 1, Turkmenistan hosted talks between Deputy Foreign Minister V. Hajiyev and UNIDO Deputy Secretary-General Qiyon Zou, who is in Arkadag on the occasion of the opening ceremony of Arkadag city. This is reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

During the meeting, the current status of cooperation between Turkmenistan and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization was discussed, as well as the prospects for further effective development and strengthening of relations.

Energy, industry, ecology, digitalization and the construction of smart cities were identified as promising areas of cooperation. In addition, the parties discussed the measures taken to implement the Strategy for Universal Sustainable Industrial Development.
