Humanitarian Association of Turkmens of the World: year results and future plans

On the eve of Turkmenistan's main holiday - Independence Day - the regular, XXIV conference of the Humanitarian Association of Turkmens of the World was held at the Mekan Palace in Ashgabat. This was reported by the publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

The forum was opened and chaired by the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. The conference was attended by numerous delegates - representatives of Turkmen diasporas from different countries.

In their speeches, they expressed their sincere gratitude for the opportunity to visit the historical homeland of their ancestors and observe with their own eyes the impressive successes of modern Turkmenistan.

The important role of the Humanitarian Association in uniting foreign compatriots and popularizing the rich cultural heritage of the Turkmen people around the world was especially noted.

A number of the most active members of the Association were given honorary awards in recognition of their merits. At the end of the forum, the participants of the forum adopted an address of gratitude to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.

According to the organizers, in the coming days the foreign guests will take part in all the festive events dedicated to the upcoming celebration of Turkmenistan's Independence Day.
