Turkmenistan's national cultural achievements are presented at an exhibition dedicated to the country's cooperation with the United Nations. This year marks the thirtieth anniversary of Turkmenistan's cooperation with the UN. Currently, many cultural achievements of the country are included in the UNESCO List of Intangible Heritage of Humanity. The exhibition, which demonstrates to visitors all the richness and diversity of the national Turkmen culture, presents the products of craftswomen who preserve and develop the traditional art of Turkmen embroidery. Also at the exhibition, one can learn about the ancient musical instrument dutar and the ancient beautiful dance "Kushtdepdi", which was included in the UNESCO List in 2017.
This year the unique desert ecosystems of Turkmenistan and the Zarafshan-Karakum corridor of the Silk Road were also added to this list.
