Deputy Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan held a meeting with an ICRC representative

Today, October 5, Deputy Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Myahri Byashimova met with Deputy Head of the Regional Office of the International Committee of the Red Cross in Central Asia Jacques Barberis. This is reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

Turkmenistan and the ICRC cooperate fruitfully in the field of international humanitarian law. During the meeting, the parties noted that the ICRC actively supports the National Red Crescent Society of Turkmenistan. This contributes to strengthening the capacity of the Turkmen organization.

Within the framework of the conversation, the sides discussed the directions of further bilateral cooperation, as well as the prospects of partnership between Turkmenistan and the International Committee of the Red Cross for the next year.
