Turkmenistan participated in the meeting of the SCO heads of state

The Turkmen delegation headed by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan H. Geldimiradov took part in a meeting of the SCO Council of Heads of Government in Bishkek on October 26. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

The Council meeting was attended by the Heads of Government of Belarus, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, China, Mongolia, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, and the Foreign Ministers of India and Pakistan. The meeting addressed issues of security and cooperation in the trade, environmental, cultural and humanitarian spheres, measures to combat climate change and water pollution. The meeting also touched upon biodiversity conservation, as well as partnership in energy, transportation and agriculture.

As a result of the last meeting of the SCO Council of Heads of Government, 14 multilateral documents were signed.
