Today, Turkmen Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov met with the head of the Regional Office of the International Committee of the Red Cross in Central Asia Biljana Milosevic. This is reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
The talks focused on the prospects for further cooperation between Turkmenistan and the ICRC for 2024 in priority areas. The special importance of activities aimed at enhancing the capacity of the ICRC's national partners in the field of international humanitarian law was emphasized.
The Turkmen side expressed appreciation for the promotion of international humanitarian law in Turkmenistan and the support of the authorities in integrating international humanitarian law into national legislation.
