During his working visit to Astana, Turkmen Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov met with Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan Murat Nurtleu. The meeting addressed a wide range of topical issues on strengthening bilateral cooperation. This is reported by the online edition “Türkmenistan Habarlar Portaly".
In the course of the conversation, the sides considered promising directions for the development of partnership relations between the two countries. Attention was paid to cooperation in trade and economic, political, cultural and humanitarian spheres. Issues of interaction in the transit-transport and energy sectors were discussed.
The Kazakh Foreign Minister congratulated his Turkmen counterpart on the successful holding of the Days of Culture of Turkmenistan in Kazakhstan and the opening of a monument to the great poet and thinker Makhtumkuli Fraghi in Astana.
