A significant event in the sphere of cultural exchange between Russia and Turkmenistan took place in St. Petersburg. On July 19, the Russian Ethnographic Museum received a generous gift - sets of traditional Turkmen clothing. The gift was presented by the group of companies "Vozrozhdenie", known for its long-standing business ties with Turkmenistan. This is reported by the publication Orient.
The costumes handed over to the museum are a real treasury of Turkmen culture. They include various elements of the national closet: outerwear, headwear, footwear and jewelry. Each item bears the imprint of rich traditions, reflecting the customs, lifestyle and cultural heritage of the Turkmen people.
It is worth noting that this gift is not an accident, but the result of long-standing and strong cultural ties between the museum and Turkmenistan. For many years, exhibitions and events dedicated to the culture of this country have been held here.
The Vozrozhdeniye Group of Companies, which acted as a donor, has a 15-year history of cooperation with Turkmenistan. During this time, the company has implemented more than 25 major construction projects in the country, contributing not only to economic but also to cultural cooperation between the two countries.
The museum management expressed its intention to continue and expand cooperation with Turkmenistan. The plans include joint research projects, publications and exchange of specialists, which will undoubtedly serve to further strengthen cultural ties between our countries.
This gift not only enriched the collection of the museum, but also became a bright symbol of friendship and mutual understanding between the peoples of Russia and Turkmenistan, opening new horizons for cultural dialog.
