With large hydrocarbon reserves, Turkmenistan continues to strengthen its positions in the world energy market, which is fully supported by the activities of the State Concern "Turkmennebit". Drillers of the concern have fulfilled the plan for the first seven months of 2024 by 103.3%, having drilled 99663 meters of wells. This is reported by the Internet edition "Westiabad."
Large-scale works on increasing hydrocarbon production are carried out at gas and oil fields of Turkmenistan. Within the framework of the Program of Oil and Gas Industry Development until 2030, new fields are being actively developed. Thus, 5 new wells have been commissioned at the Uzynada field, and five more wells are being actively developed.
It is also planned to commission new wells at Korpejin and Ekerem sites by the end of this year. Thanks to state support and the use of modern technologies, 18 new wells have been commissioned in Turkmenistan since the beginning of the year.
