On September 20, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Belarus Nazarguly Shagulyyev met with Rector of the Belarusian State Medical University Sergei Rubnikovich in Minsk. This was reported by the online edition "Westiabad."
The meeting was devoted to the issues related to the conditions of admission of Turkmen citizens to HEIs. In this context, the conditions of admission of Turkmen applicants to the preparatory department and the first courses of various faculties were considered. Attention was paid to the living conditions in the dormitories of the university.
The parties considered possible ways to expand partnership in education, ways to intensify academic cooperation and exchange of teaching methods. Over 7500 students, including foreign students, study at 7 faculties of the Belarusian university. BSMU is a member of the World Directory of Medical Schools.
