Representatives of Turkmenistan's National Commission for UNESCO, science and education spheres met with Polish teachers in Poznan on November 23. It is reported Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
The meeting dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the great Turkmen poet and philosopher Makhtumkuli Fraghi was attended by teachers and professors from the Adam Mickiewicz Polish State University. It was noted that the library of the University holds many texts related to the Turkmen people and the creative heritage of Makhtumkuli Fraghi, who had a great influence on the world culture.
In the course of the conversation, the sides discussed issues of Turkmen-Polish cooperation in the spheres of science and teaching, paid attention to the preservation of manuscripts and realization of international projects.
