Osaka, July 28 - Arzuw.news. A Turkmen-Japanese business forum aimed at developing economic cooperation between the two countries and expanding trade and investment relations was held at the National Pavilion of Turkmenistan at the EXPO-2025 international exhibition in Osaka. The event, held on July 25, brought together representatives of business circles of Turkmenistan and Japan to discuss cooperation in key areas of the economy. The forum participants focused on high-tech industries, innovation systems, digital economy, as well as energy and transportation sectors.
During the business negotiations, the parties exchanged proposals on creating favorable conditions for Japanese business to enter the Turkmen market. Particular attention was paid to the opportunities for the introduction of Japanese technological solutions by Turkmen companies and the realization of joint innovation initiatives.
The organizers note that such events contribute to strengthening bilateral cooperation and stimulate the development of economic ties throughout the Central Asian region.
Earlier, on April 15 this year, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov met with representatives of Japanese business structures in Osaka, which laid the foundation for further development of trade and economic relations between the countries.
