Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov meets with Aliyev in Avaz

A meeting between the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev was held in the National Tourist Zone "Avaza". This was reported by the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.

The President of Azerbaijan arrived in Turkmenistan on a working visit to participate in the trilateral summit of Turkmenistan, the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The talks were held in two formats: first, the leaders held a one-on-one meeting, and then continued the discussion in an expanded format with the participation of delegations from both countries.

During the talks, the sides noted that Turkmen-Azerbaijani relations are becoming systematic and regular, reaching the level of sustainable mutually beneficial partnership. The leaders emphasized the commitment of both countries to further dynamic development of interstate dialog.

As it was noted during the meeting, cooperation between the two countries is based on centuries-old principles of good-neighborliness and mutually beneficial partnership.
