Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov meets with Shavkat Mirziyoyev in Avaz

National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held talks with Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev in the Avaza National Tourist Zone. Arzuw.news reports with reference to the International Information Center of Turkmenistan.

The Uzbek leader arrived on a working visit to participate in the Turkmenistan-Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan trilateral summit. The talks between the heads of state were held in two formats: one-on-one and in an expanded format with the participation of official delegations of both countries.

During the meeting, the sides noted that effective cooperation between the two states is based on a solid foundation of friendship and political will. The participants of the talks emphasized that bilateral relations have reached a qualitatively new level of development in recent years.

The meeting confirmed the mutual aspiration of the states to deepen strategic partnership and opens wide prospects for further enhancement of interaction in all areas of cooperation.
