Turkmenistan signed six agreements with Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan

Constructive cooperation for global progress and prosperity

A trilateral meeting of the leaders of Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan was held in the Avaza National Tourist Zone. Six documents on cooperation in the field of transportation, aviation, shipbuilding and trade were signed as a result of the meeting. This was reported by the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.

On August 22, the Avaza Congress Center hosted talks between the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev. The sides discussed cooperation in energy, transportation, culture and utilizing the potential of the Great Silk Road for the development of Eurasian ties.

A Joint Statement of the three states was adopted as a result of the trilateral meeting. Earlier in the day, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held separate bilateral talks with each of the foreign leaders.

On August 20, a meeting of the Presidium of the Khalk Maslakhaty chaired by the National Leader was held, where the issues of preparation for the declaration of 2025 as the "International Year of Peace and Trust" and the 30th anniversary of the permanent neutrality of Turkmenistan were considered.

Other significant events also took place during these days: On August 21, the International Exhibition "Kids Expo: Everything for Children" opened at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry with the participation of more than 80 companies from eight countries, including Turkmenistan, UAE, France, China, USA, Russia, Turkey and Uzbekistan.
