Turkmenistan and Georgia discussed a memorandum between universities

The diplomat congratulated the rector on her appointment and expressed confidence in the successful development of the educational institution under her leadership. The meeting participants paid special attention to the preparation and signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between Yakshigeldi Kakaev International University of Oil and Gas and Sukhumi State University.

During the talks, the sides emphasized the importance of maintaining traditionally close ties between the Embassy of Turkmenistan and the Georgian University in educational, scientific and cultural fields. The participants of the meeting also considered plans to organize bilateral visits at the level of rectors to further strengthen academic ties.

Rector of Sukhumi State University T. Jugeli expressed readiness to actively support initiatives to develop joint academic and cultural projects aimed at strengthening the partnership between Turkmenistan and Georgia.
